Syracuse Orangemen Carmelo Anthony, the Final Four MVP, left for the NBA after one season and guard Kueth Duany graduated. Anthony averaged 22.2 points and 10.0 rebounds, which was fourth and third respectively, in the BIG EAST. Duany posted a 11.0 scoring mark and held the young group together.
